ARLINGTON, Va. – The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) today announced that Leticia Latino, President and Chief Executive Officer of WIA member Neptuno, and a leader on WIA’s Innovation & Technology Council (ITC), Rikin Thakker, Vice President, Telecommunications and Spectrum Policy for the Multicultural Media, Telecom and Internet Council, were appointed Chair and Vice-Chair, respectively, to the new Broadband Deployment Advisory Committee, or BDAC, Working Group on Broadband Infrastructure Deployment Job Skills and Training Opportunities.
“WIA is thrilled the FCC appointed Leticia Latino of WIA member Neptuno and our long-time partner Dr. Rikin Thakker to these positions.
