The New England Wireless Association announced it raised an unprecedented $64,000 for its charities. NEWA made the announcement earlier this month at its Holiday Networking Mixer at the Hampshire House in Boston to over 150 attendees. Recipients of the $64,000 are comprised of NEWA’s 13th Annual Golf Event charities. A total of $30,000 was raised for the newly created NEWA Scholarship Fund, another $30,000 was raised for the Tower Family Foundation, and $4,000 was raised for Jarheads Motorcycle Club’s Fallen 7, which was a game-day cash donation charity that NEWA matched one-for-one. The NEWA Board thanks its members for their overwhelming support and dedication.
