CTI Towers Inc, one of the largest privately-held tower companies in the United States, announced it has entered into an agreement for obstruction lighting services with Flash Technology, a global leader in aids-to-navigation solutions. The agreement was finalized this week at the Wireless West Conference in Scottsdale, AZ.
Under the nationwide agreement, Flash will provide obstruction light installation, monitoring and maintenance services via their VIP warranty program. Flash’s VIP program is a turnkey solutions package that offers predictable maintenance expenses through a capital expense model. The VIP program provides a five-year warranty on parts and labor for Vanguard® Medium lighting systems, including installation by trained lighting technicians, year-round monitoring in Flash’s National Operations Center and an automated maintenance and repair process should a lighting failure occur.
“This agreement is an extension of our long-term partnership with Flash Technology,” says Tony Peduto, CTI’s chief executive officer. “Onboarding Flash for tower light maintenance services streamlines internal operations, allowing the CTI team to focus on our core competency of tower leasing and getting our customers installed quickly.”
“Flash is excited to continue our valued partnership with CTI Towers under VIP. With 24/7 monitoring in our NOC and automated maintenance processes through Field Services, the program ensures CTI’s sites remain compliant with FAA and FCC lighting and monitoring regulations,” adds Pete Bruce, vice president of channel management at Flash Technology. “Additionally, VIP cuts CTI’s tower light operating expenses to $0 for the length of the warranty period.”
